Inverter distributor Sinetech has been appointed as a local partner for German photo- voltaic (PV) inverter manufacturer Kaco New Energy and will supply the full range of Kaco inverter systems with local backup.
Kaco, which has produced over 3 GW of PV inverters since 1999, is one of the largest manu- facturers of grid-tie inverters globally.
It produces over 30 inverter models, ranging between 2 600 kVA and 500 kVA.
Some of the inverters have ingress protection ratings, allowing for outside installation. The inverters can be paralleled on an alternating current bus system and can be monitored through Ethernet networks or through the Internet.
The German manufacturer operates from five factories in Germany, as well as production sites in the US, Canada and South Korea.
“We were looking for the right partner and I believe we have found that in Kaco. Sinetech, with over 35 years’ experience in power electronics and over 15 years’ experience in the inverter or solar business, will without a doubt contribute to Kaco’s success,” says Sinetech GM Herbert Teubner.
Sinetech has already sold the first 48 kW Kaco system within three days of announcing the partnership.
