Free State Agriculture plans to have an Alternative Energy Day Tour on 2 and 3 February 2012 in the Free State. We would like to contact any farmers in the Free State who have successfully engaged into alternative energy projects (solar, wind or water power).
The purpose of the tour is visiting these farmers who successfully use alternative energy on farms, whether solar, wind or water energy. This is an awareness tour for farmers to learn from others with firsthand knowledge of these kinds of projects. Farmers can also engage with the owners to learn about the effects whether positively or negatively and what the advantages or disadvantages are.
