Project Summary
The World Bank has identified hydro energy initiatives as among the investment loans for Zambia across the years 2008-2011. In the country assistance strategy, it is estimated that the project will be approved and implemented in 2011.
UPDATE, 30 September 2010: The bank will no longer pursue this since the Government of Zambia has decided to develop the project with Chinese support.
