CCI wishes to draw your attention to the following notice:
The Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs intends to change the licensing authorities for waste management licence applications for the listed activities, as set out in the notice, by entering into agreements with the Members of Executive Committee (MECs) for Gauteng, Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal in accordance with section 43(3) of the NEMWA.
Interested and affected parties are invited to submit written comments within 30 days of the publication of the notice (i.e. on or before 22 March 2011).
