    Join us for the next episode on South Africa’s energy efficiency campaign tonight, 19 January 2011, at 18h25 on the eNews Early Edition – or catch the repeat the following morning on the e.tv Sunrise Show just after 7h00.
    In this insert we look at government’s infrastructure investments that will ensure a secure supply of electricity going into the future. Specifically, we look at why government is building the new Kusile and Medupi power plants and give you an indication of their scale, where the funds are coming from and why they will have a positive impact on the economy.
    Key stakeholders interviewed in this episode include Enoch Godongwana (Deputy Minister of Public Enterprises); Chris Forlee (Deputy Director General: Department of Energy); Gustav Radloff (Managing Director: Energy Cybernetics, SABS Chairperson on Energy Efficiency Standards and SA representative on the ISO5001 Committee on Energy Efficiency) and Ompi Aphane (Chief Director: Department of Energy).
