Corporate Africa and ICCouncil deem the moment appropriate for the first Africa Global Warming and Climate Change Conference,
focussing on Sustainable Development through Green Investments. The event will be the first of its kind to be held under the
patronage of the United Nations, to match heads of states and CEOs of Fortune 500 Corporations and international investors
with nations in Africa, and to explore green investments that could mitigate climate change and global warming while accelerating
national economic growth and development. It is proposed as a method of approach to address the challenges of global warming
and climate change facing the 53 member nation states of the African Union. The event endeavors to open markets to International
Investors to explore green investments in Africa by meeting heads of states, Ministers of Environment, Ministers of Finance and
Sustainable Development, and decision makers in the high level meetings in September 2011
