SOUTH AFRICA: South African govt approves 78MW Red Cap Kouga project :: WindPower Windtelligence: “The Government of South Africa has selected Red Cap Kouga Wind Development Company as a preferred bidder to build and operate a 77.6MW wind farm in in the Kouga region of the Eastern Cape.
Red Cap Kouga Wind Development Company is a partnership between Red Cap Investments, Afri-Coast Engineers SA, Eurocape Renewables, Inspired Evolution Investment Management and Standard Bank.
The bidder requires to get to financial close by June 2012, and bring the Red Cap Kouga project into operation to start during the second quarter of 2014.”
