CA Global: Power and Energy (Africa Positions) has a client that is in need of a General Manager (Renewable Energy / Solar Power / Wind Power). The position will be based in East Africa. 
Overview: Our client requires a General Manager who has project management experience as well as technical knowledge in renewable energy projects, particularly in wind and solar energy. Job Requirements • Minimum 5 years experience in the renewable energy field • Bachelors degree in Engineering • Outstanding electrical / technical knowledge and skills • Outstanding human relations experience • Excellent communication skills in English • Report writing skills in English • Project coordinating, execution and quality control skills • Sales skills and ability to identify new opportunities • Able to Work under pressure Job Description: Ad hoc field work and installations Identification of new technologies & market research R&D: Design and development of a new communication system High level system integration on solar and wind power systems After-sales support and fault resolution on systems Technology areas: Hydro, solar water heating, solar power, batteries, inverters, charge controllers, solar water pumps, wind chargers, etc. Procurement and stock control, quotations, client support, price lists update Excellence in turnaround time and client service, coordinate sales execution Personal development and participation in company legacy projects Acquiring and writing of tenders Experience in installation for grid-tie and off-grid systems is a plus Represent technical sales function and also have a high level of integration and implementation of small scale electrical energy systems and fault finding.
