Our client is a leading international law firm which is globally recognised for its energy capability. They seek senior associates, or junior partners to work in their (soon to be launched ) Johannesburg based energy and projects team with a mandate to exploit numerous opportunities for energy deals and projects across Africa
Our client already has a strong client base and you will be working with many of the firms regional and multinational energy clients, and high levels of activity in the regional energy sector.
Ideally you will be a minimum of 6 years pqe with relevant post qualification experience in an energy / projects practice of a top-tier firm with prior work experience in mergers and acquisitions and project financing in the energy sector.
· Experience with Mining is preferred, oil and gas, Power and alternative energy is also relevant
· M&A and Commercial Contracts experience is essential and Finance experience advantageous
