Donald Kaberuka President of the African Development Bank has urged African governments to prioritise the initiative of Sustainable Energy for All in a bid to achieve development goals.
The initiative was launched by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in 2011 with an aim to ensure universal access to modern energy.
He called for doubling the global rate of improvement in energy efficiency and doubling the share of renewable energy in the global mix.
