Breakthrough on renewable energy in South Africa

Breakthrough on renewable energy in South Africa: Denmark is a proud partner to South Africa. – Embassy of Denmark South Africa:
Renewable energy in South Africa took a giant leap forward on Wednesday 7 December with the announcement of the preferred bidders under the renewable-energy independent power producer (IPP) programme by the South African Minister for Energy, Ms Dipuo Peters. This was followed by the launch of the ambitious South Africa Renewable initiative, SARi, where Denmark has also joined South Africa as a government partner. The announcement – and the launch of SARi – is part of the blueprint for the South African energy mix towards 2030 as envisaged in the Integrated Resource Plan that was adopted by the South African government in March of this year with the ambitious target of having 17.800 MW of renewables by 2030.‘via Blog this’
