The current global health emergency and the consequent international measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 have resulted in new solutions and business opportunities. To this end, Italian Exhibition Group is pleased to announce a new service for the upcoming edition of the Ecomondo/Key Energy events, which multiplies the potential for meetings between demand and supply.
The business meeting platform is a digital instrument which enables all buyers unable to attend Ecomondo and Key Energy in person to set up virtual appointments with participating exhibitors.
To assure optimal service, we are providing a wide range of services in support of this initiative including, for exhibitors attending the exhibitions, improved Wi-Fi coverage throughout the exhibition centre.

Participating in Ecomondo and Key Energy virtually is very simple:
- for the days on which the business meeting platform is operative (7 -27 October) virtual buyers must schedule at least 8 business meetings with exhibitors at Ecomondo/Key Energy.
- virtual buyers will be able to plan business meetings not only for the exhibition days themselves (3 – 6 November), but also during the following days up to 13 November
- to hold their meetings, buyers must access the virtual room shared with the exhibitor by clicking on the link provided in the appointments planner in the time slot in question. The link will only be active at the time at which the appointment starts and no earlier. Please note that to hold the meeting, there is no need to download a videoconferencing system or app – all that is needed is a good internet connection, and the buyer need only click on the link shown in the appointments book.
