On Saturday 23rd October 2010 a one day Solar water heating introduction workshop is being presented at the Eco Centre in Muldersdrift, Krugersdorp area. An ideal introduction for plumbers, electricians, handymen and general contractors to attend and learn about this exciting avenue.
Participants in this workshop will learn the theory, design considerationsand installation techniques necessary to install and maintain a solar domestic hot water system.
Subjects included are:
Basics of solar water heating systems
System components
System design
Planning and preparing the installation of solar water heating components
Installing solar water heating components, pipes and fittings
Installation methods. Hands on assembly and instructions
Testing and commissioning
Maintaining solar water heating components, pipes and fittings
Safety.
You will be exposed to role players in the industry advising on entering the market, availability of systems and pitfalls to expect.
