Salman Zafar is a Renewable Energy Advisor with expertise in biomass energy, waste-to-energy processes, solid waste management, green investment and sustainable energy systems. Apart from managing his advisory firm BioEnergy Consult, he has been actively involved in fostering sustainable development and creating environmental awareness in different parts of the world in collaboration with technology firms, NGOs, entrepreneurs, social groups, researchers and investors. Salman is in great demand in international renewable energy circles and sits on the advisory board of several reputed biomass energy and waste management firms from India, Singapore, Nigeria and USA.
Salman has been a significant contributor towards popularizing biomass energy technologies and in making ‘waste-to-energy’ a byline for sustainable development.
