The World Energy Council (WEC) and the South African National Energy Association have adopted the yearly Africa Energy Indaba Conference & Exhibition as their Africa regional event.
Africa Energy Indaba organiser and MD Liz Hart says the professional leadership provided by the two organisations ensures that the event receives attention at the highest level, locally and internationally. This is critical to ensure that the resolutions made at the conference have a real impact on shaping energy policy, creating business opportunities and informing the debate around Africa’s energy future, she adds.
The event will be held from February 21 to 23, 2012, at the Sandton Convention Centre, in Sandton, Johannesburg, and will incorporate the conference and an exhibition, as well as the WEC African Regional Forum. The conference programme features top local and international experts and speakers, and the exhibition is expected to double in size.
