REMT ISU responsds to concerns about a restrictive financial close timeline
The effect of the update is to provide for either a financial close deadline or an earlier milestone for specified Tier 1 projects , as outlined on the updated REMT application form for Tier 1 or Tier 2 activities. The Tier 1 Evaluation Criteria document has also been updated accordingly.

This means the key, final milestone for Tier 1 activities will either be financial close OR selection as preferred bidder in terms of the IPP Procurement Programme (IPPPP), by 31 October 2012.
